One of our Kablooey Studio Monsters will make his celebrity debut in an interview on the new TV show, Think Big SA! Richard Burgess our head designer and one of the founding members of our Durban website design studio will be interviewed about the Spice Emporium online shop that is currently in development.
Spice Emporium, one of our clients, have landed themselves a time slot on Think Big SA on SABC 3 every week at 21h30. Spice Emporium is a family run business that sells spices at a number of branches around Durban and even has a great snack bar in Monty Naicker Road. Husband and wife team, Vinod and Chandrika Harie, took over the spices wholesale business when Chandrika’s father retired. Through hard work and a strong family bond, the Harie’s have built a solid retail business and are making sure that their children will not only be fully prepared to take over the company, but bring it into the digital era with help from us evil geniuses at Kablooey Studios.
Think Big is a series that will track the personal and business challenges of our twelve heroes as they dare to go beyond their comfort zone and ‘step it up’ towards a potential R1million investment into their dream. From thousands of businesses across South Africa, twelve courageous entrepreneurs will emerge – all who have the ability to ‘step it up’.
The show is sponsored by Standard Bank, a champion of SMME’s like these who hold the business future of South Africa in their hands.
